Steven J. Rauschkolb

Steven Rauschkolb is the founder and managing director of The Crisfield Group, LLC. He is a past President of the Society of Pharmaceutical and Biotech Trainers, having served two terms from 2001 - 2005. Mr. Rauschkolb has led the learning & development functions for several of the world's most prominent pharmaceutical companies. His experience includes Sanofi Aventis, were he was Vice President of Leadership and Management Development responsible for training, talent management and talent development for 10,000+ field personnel, account managers, medical liaisons and home office marketing associates. Before the merger with Sanofi, Mr. Rauschkolb was Vice President of Learning and Development for Aventis Pharmaceuticals. Previously Mr. Rauschkolb worked at Pfizer as Sr. Director of the University of Pfizer / Career Development including Hospital /Specialty representative training. He joined Pfizer as a result of their merger with Warner-Lambert, where he held the position of Senior Director, Learning & Development leading the training functions for all commercial operations including managed markets and medical. Prior to Warner Lambert, Mr. Rauschkolb was Director of Training and Communications at Schering-Plough Corporation. In addition, Mr. Rauschkolb has held a variety of positions in sales, marketing, strategic planning and training for Ricoh Corporation, AT&T and Exxon.
Mr. Rauschkolb has been quoted and interviewed in numerous books and publications Including T&D (The Journal of the American Society of Training and Development), Chief Learning Officer, Sales & Marketing Management, Pharmaceutical Executive, Pharmaceutical Representative, Med Ad News, Next Generation Pharmaceuticals, Performance, Focus (the journal of the Society of Pharmaceutical and Biotech Trainers), U.S. News & World Report and Selling Power. Mr. Rauschkolb has also been honored by the American Society of Training and Development as one of the "New Guard" of noteworthy individuals making an impact in training and development.
Mr. Rauschkolb has spoken throughout the United States and Internationally on a variety of Human Capital Development topics. He holds a MA in Strategic Communications and Leadership from Seton Hall University, a BS in Organizational Management from Nyack College and completed post graduate study in Organizational Development at Columbia University. In addition to his academic and business credentials, Mr. Rauschkolb has been an adjunct professor of Leadership and Communication in the graduate school of Communications at Seton Hall University. He is also on the editorial advisory boards of Pharmaceutical Representative and Focus magazines.
